Andy Wall - Trainer 

Hi, I'm Andy and I'm the founder of Andy's Dog Training Cheshire. If you are looking for support with your pet, sport or working dogs then we are here to help. 

As head trainer, I have over 20 years of experience of working with dogs, and can provide guidance for a wide array of issues.  I love nothing more than seeing owners and handlers build and strengthen their bond with their dogs, and I thrive on the challenges of problem-solving and understanding how you and your dogs learn best.  This allows me to offer many different approaches to training, to best suit the needs of you and your dog as a team. 

I have competed in the tri-phase sport of IGP for more than a decade, progressing quickly to compete at the National Championships with my first IGP dog, Nico.  IGP is a dog sport with origins in the testing of working dogs and covers obedience, tracking and protection.  This trilogy of phases really tests both the dog and the handler, as it demands precision, control and courage.  I have competed at the FMBB World Championships in 2024 with Gunnar, representing Great Britain after having won the qualifiers in 2023, and I am immensely proud of achieving a qualifying score at international level.

I have also coached numerous handlers to achieve remarkable success in their own sporting journeys, including them going on to compete on the international stage.

But it doesn't stop there - I continue to expand my knowledge, regularly attending training seminars with some of the top dog trainers from across the world.  This allows me to  employ a varied and flexible training approach, tailored to meet the unique needs of both dog and handler.
